How You Do Anything is How You Do Everything

Mike Tyson is a former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and holds the record as the youngest boxer every to win the title.  Cus D’Amato was his legendary trainer.  A story from Mike’s youth:

Mike Tyson:  I hated doing chores; I was so focused on my boxing.  One day Cus came to me.

Cus:  “You know, Camille really wants you to do your chores.  I could care less if you did, but you should do them because it will make you a better boxer.

Mike Tyson:  “How’s taking out the trash going to make me a better boxer?” I scoffed.

Cus:  “Because doing something you hate to do like you love it is good conditioning for someone aspiring towards greatness.”

Mike Tyson:  After that, Camille never had to remind me to do my chores again.
